Doulacare Ireland are excited to bring this course to help doulas and birth workers grow in confidence & skills for supporting breastfeeding parents.
This will be an interactive course based on adult learning styles, with lots of group discussion and trouble shooting.

For those planning to certify as a Birth or Postpartum Doula with DONA International, our course has been approved by their certification board. This will cover your 4 hour required breastfeeding course.

Jen is a DONA trained Birth & Postpartum Doula and is one of Ireland's most respected Postpartum Doulas. She was the first EVER certified DONA Postpartum Doula in Ireland. Jen has boundless experience supporting families during their birth & postpartum experience. Jen specialises with the care of preterm and sick babies and brings this area of expertise to support all families. Jen has supported families from all different backgrounds, with many different parenting choices. Jen is also a Cuidiú Antenatal Ireland Educator and Breastfeeding Counsellor.
Jen was the Breastfeeding Coordinator for a national charity Irish Premature Babies. for many years. This gave her the opportunity to support families through many different situations.
Jen has run many workshops nationwide for health care professionals and parents. She was also extremely proud to be co-author of the only HSE booklet available for breastfeeding preterm and sick babies.
