After many years of supporting families through pregnancy, birth and early parenting and also mentoring doulas in Ireland, Jen and Mary are excited to offer DoulaCare Birth Doula training.

Our training is specifically geared to working with families in Ireland. We are the leading experts in Doula Care in Ireland and we want to offer our expertise to give you the information and skills you will need to provide birth doula services to families that need your support.

This is one of the first ever doula trainings that has been developed in Ireland and our training offers you the opportunity to receive certification from an Irish organisation that is familiar with what families in Ireland look for with doula support.

We are committed to offering you the most up to date and evidence based research so you can build your confidence and professionally develop your skills and knowledge as a birth doula.  During your birth doula training you will learn how to be a professional doula. Our Birth training will cover evidence-based information about the benefits of doula support, how to hold space for expectant parents when they are preparing for a new baby or babies, the impact of doula support to a family, hospital policies and procedures, practical hands-on techniques, as well as the steps to begin a career as a birth doula.
